3 Steps to Find Your BIGO ID
1. Open your profile
Open the BIGO Live app and tap the "Me" icon in the bottom navigation bar.
2. Look under your nickname
Your BIGO ID appears directly below your display name, labelled "ID:". It's different from your nickname — the ID is a fixed identifier.
3. Copy it
Tap your ID to copy it, or open Edit Profile for a larger view. Save it somewhere safe if you'll need it often.
BIGO ID vs Nickname — What's the Difference?
Many new users confuse their nickname (the display name shown in live rooms and chats) with their BIGO ID (a unique identifier used for account lookup, top-ups, and friend requests).
- Nickname — can be changed often, doesn't have to be unique, shown as your public display name.
- BIGO ID — unique to your account, used when someone searches for you or when you top up diamonds on a third-party site.
Why you'll need your BIGO ID
You'll be asked for your BIGO ID whenever you top up diamonds through a reseller, add a friend by ID search, or verify your account for support. Always double-check the ID before submitting a top-up — diamonds sent to the wrong ID cannot be recovered.
